Ammonium chloride changes directly from solid gaseous on heating . So to separate mixtures containing a sublimable volatile component from a non-sublimable impurity i.e., sodium chloride, the sublimation process is used. Place the china dish over a wire gauze placed over a tripod stand.

☺️explanation :- ammonium chloride is sublimable so we will take this mixture in a china dish and we will start heating the mixture then you will observe that the ammonium chloride would condense and then get sticker to the walls of china dish and the salt would be separated.
