Answer :-

we know that,

• 1 complete rotation = 360° .

so,

→ Angle created by half rotation = 360°/2 = 180° = Straight angle . (Ans.)

Question 2) :- Write the symbolic form of two perpendicular lines AB and CD ?

Answer :-

→ The symbolic form of two perpendicular lines AB and CD is = AB ⟂ CD .

Question 3) :- What is the measurement of an angle formed in the morning at 9 o'clock ?

Answer :-

At 9AM :-

• Minute hand = At 12 .
• Hour hand = At 9 .

→ Between 12 to 9 we have = 3 * 5 = 15 minutes .

then,

→ 1 minute = 6°

→ 15 minutes = 6 * 15 = 90° (Ans.)

Hence, angle formed in the morning at 9 o'clock is equal to 90° .

Question 4) :-Where will the hand of a clock stop if kavya starts from 5 and makes 3/4 of a rotation anti-clock wise ?

Answer :-

→ (3/4) of a rotation anti-clock wise = (3/4) * 360° = 270° anticlockwise .

we can say that,

→ 270° anticlockwise or = 360° - 270° = 90° clockwise .

then,

→ 90° clockwise = 90/(5*6) = 3 .

therefore,

→ Hand of clock stops at = 5 + 3 = 8 (Ans.)
