Q.9Four Cyclist A,B,C,D starts at the same point and at the same time and move in a straight
line to reach destination.They all move with uniform velocities. They reach the destination in the
following order
C→A→B→D

Answer the following questions

a .If the displacement-time graph is plotted for each cyclist ,which will be having highest slope

b.Arrange the cyclist
in decreasing order of velocity​

Q9) The final order shows the C travelled with max. speed ,so it reached earliest and u know that slope of displacement time graph represents velocity. Hence slope for C will be highest as it has the highest velocity of the 4 cyclists

a) So, Slope for Displacement Vs Time Graph will be maximum which has travelled with maximum constant velocity. 3) Since, Displacement is constant for all cyclists.

b)   c, a, b, d

The 1 who reaches earlier travels with more velocity and late 1 with least velocity
