Q1. A reflex, or reflex action, is an involuntary and nearly instantaneous movement in response to a stimulus. A reflex is made possible by neural pathways called reflex arcs which can act on an impulse before that impulse reaches the brain.

This action is under the control of the will thus is known as a voluntary action. For example- Breathing. Involuntary action takes total control without your own conscious. A reflex action is not under the control of the will.The spinal cord takes total control. For example- Brushing, Sneezing, Throwing a ball.

Q2. Reduce the number of trips you take in your car. Reduce or eliminate fireplace and wood stove use. Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials. Avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.
