A= V-U/T

V IS FINAL VELOCITY = 20

A IS INITIAL VELOCITY = 0

A = 20-0/50

= 2/5 m/s

hope this helps u.

Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Initial speed of car, u = 0 (As car starts from rest)

Final speed of car, v = 20 m/s

Time taken by car, = 50 seconds

To Calculate :-

Acceleration, a = ??

Formula to be used :-

1st equation of motion,

i.e, v = u + at

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

v = u + at

⇒ 20 = 0 + a × 50

⇒ 20 = 50a

⇒ 20/50 = a

a = 0.4 m/s²

Hence, the acceleration by car is 0.4 m/s².
