a) Calorimetry is the science or act of measuring changes in state variables of a body for the purpose of deriving the heat transfer associated with changes of its state due, for example, to chemical reactions, physical changes, or phase transitions under specified constraints. Calorimetry is performed with a calorimeter.
b) Copper is used for making calorimeter.
c) A calorimeter is made of a thin sheet of copper so that. Copper has small SHC and the thin box ensures that the box has small heat capacity. Thus the calorimeter box can absorb a small amount of heat from the contents of the calorimeter.
