As we know that, india got freedom from british on 15 august 1947.

Every year we celebrate this day as Independence day.

Now,

→ from 1947 to 2020 we have = 2020 - 1947 = 73 years.

1st we celebrate on 1947.

Therefore,

→ in 2020 we celebrate = 73 + 1 = 74th Independence day.

Now , we have to divide 74 by 8 using multiplication method.

So,

→ 74 ÷ 8

8) 74 (

Now, upto 74, we can go to multiple of 9 of 8. As, 9 * 8 = 72 .

Therefore,
