Answer:

For (a)

Distance is 62.80 or 63m

Displacement is 0m

For (b)

Distance is 94.20m or 94m

Displacement is 20 m

For (c)

Distance is 125.60 m or 126m

Displacement is 0m

For (d)

Distance is 157.00 m or 157m

Displacement is 20m

Answer:

a) 1 round; distance = 62.8m; displacement = 0m

b) 1.5 round; distance = 94.2m; displacement = 31.4 m

c)2 round; distance = 125.6m; displacement = 0m

d) 2.5round;distance = 157.0m;displacement = 31.4m.

Explanation:

the distance traveled in a circle is the measure of its circumference... circumference of this circle

is 2 x 3.14 x 10m(radius).that is 62.8m

if the particle walks 1 round then distance is 1 x 62.8 the same when he walks for 1.5m,2m,2.5m

so distance is equal to no. of rounds x circumference....

Now the displacement is the minimum distance away from the starting point.... so,when the particle completes one round it come backs to the starting point again so there's is no displacement from the starting point.... but,

when it is in 1.5round and 2.5round the particle is

away from the starting point with half of the circumference.... that is 31.4m....so displacement

is only the gap between starting and finishing point....
