Q- A Ray of light strikes a plane mirror such that it's angle of incidence is 30°. What angle does the reflected Ray make with mirror surface ??
Q- A dentist's mirror has a radius of curvature of 3cm. How far must it be placed from a small dental cavity to give a virtual image of the cavity that is magnified five times ??

the reflected angle would be 60° acc. to the laws of reflection . incident angle =reflected angle.
90°-30°=60°

heya mate, here is your solution of the question.
Answer no.1 :
it will be 90°-30°=60°
as 90° is the position of the normal and 30° is the angle of incidence.

Answer no.2
if radius of curvature is 3cm then the focallength will be 1.5cm
and as it is dentist's mirror it is concave mirror of focallength -1.5cm

therefore, the object should be placed between principle focus and focus i.e.
P and F.
hope it will help you
