Given :

Capital invested by A = Rs. 1500

Number of months invested by B = 6 months

Number of months invested by C = after 8 months = 4 months

Ratio of profit = 5:3:3

To find : Sum invested by B and C = ?

Solution :

Let the amount invested by B be 'x'

According to question, it becomes :

\dfrac{1500\times 12}{x\times 6}=\dfrac{5}{3}\\\\1500\times 12\times 3=5\times 6x\\\\54000=30x\\\\x=\dfrac{54000}{30}\\\\x=1800

Since, ratio of B: C = 3:3

That means, Amount invested both would be same

So, Sum of amounts of B and C would be:

1800+1800=3600

Hence, The required sum is Rs. 3600.
