u = 0 m/s ( Stone dropped without any velocity)

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at {}^{2}  \\ 44.1 = 0 +  \frac{1}{2} \times 9.8 \times t {}^{2}  \\ t {}^{2}  = 4.5 \times 2 = 9 \\ t =  \sqrt{9}  = 3s
