Q. A toy bank is full of one rupee and fifty paise coins . It contains 3 times as many fifty paise coins as one rupee coins . The total amount of money in the toy bank is 45rupees . How many coins of each kind are there in the toy bank?​

Let x be the number of 1 rs coin

then the number of 50 paisa coin is 3 times x =3x

from the question we can understand that

x+3x =45

4x=45

x = 45/4

x=11.25

x= 11

Then 3x=3×11 =33

No of 1 rs coin =11 and no of 50 paisa coin=33
