Q. Ali has presently five times the number of balls than the Danish. If Ali gave 10 balls to Danish he will have thrice the number of balls than Danish will have. How many balls Ali has now?​

Let, the no. of balls Ali have be x

and the no. of balls Danish have be y

Now,

If Ali gave 10 balls to Danish,then the no. of balls left with Ali is (x-10) and the no. of balls left with Danish is (y+10).

x-10=3(y+10)

x-10=3y+30

x-10-3y-30=0

x-3y-40=0----------2

Now,

Using 1 in2 ,we get

=> 5y-3y=40

=> 2y=40

=>y=40/2

=>y=20

From 1 =>x=5×20=100
