An established set of decisions to deal with specific activities which recur frequently within the organization is known as [d] standing plan.
Types of plans-
- Planning as a part of the management process is very important as it is the activity to plan in advance or lay down the process that has to be followed before taking the next step in the process.
- It is the base of all processes as it is the course of action that has to be followed by the organization while performing other functions of management.
- There are mainly two types of plans used by an organization- a single-use plan and a standing use plan.
- Single-use plan as the name suggests is a plan that is used for non-recurring activities and deals with one specific problem at once. It is a one-time activity.
- On the other hand, is a standing plan which is used multiple times. As clear it seems they are used for recurring problems. It is an advance plan for all the problems/activities which the organization has already dealt with.
Thus, a set of decisions to deal with certain and particular activities that often occur is a standing plan.
