1 . Commission for Reconstruction of States

Commission for Reconstruction of States chaired by Justice Fazal Ali advocated the creation of bilingual Mumbai State. Government of India appointed a 'Commission for Reconstruction of States' on 29 December 1953, under the Chairmanship of Justice Fazal Ali.

2. The Razakars were a private militia organised by Qasim Razvi during the rule of Nizam Mir Sir Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII. They resisted the integration of Hyderabad State into the Dominion of India.

3. Louis Mountbatten, Earl Mountbatten of Burma became governor-general and oversaw the transition of British India to independence. Chakravarti Rajagopalachari (1878-1972) became the only Indian and last governor-general after independence.

4. Tamil Nadu Untouchability Eradication Front (TNUEF) is the one of the mass front of Communist Party of India (Marxist). It works to eradicate the untouchability and other forms of caste oppression.
