Based on your understanding of the story, 'The Gift of the Magi', write a short paragraph describing the scene in the story where Della is waiting to receive her husband to gift him the chain for his inherited beautiful watch after selling off her long and beautiful hair. Summary of ch. :-

In this chapter we see that dead and Jim living in a small house and they don't have enough money to purchase everything and their income not enough to complete their all wishes so once a time when Christmas is coming and both of them planned for each other to buy a gift that was surprise .Because they were poor also they don't have enough money to purchase gift so they have to give give where to precious things so at that time sold her beautiful hairs and Jim sold gold watch and then they purchase gift for each other but the consequence was that Della purchased platinum fob chain for Jim and Jim purchased a pair of combs for Della but they can't give each other because Jim has sold a watch and dela has sold her beautiful hairs. So , at last they decided that they will again purchase the watch and dela will wait for her beautiful hairs. and then they will use the gifts.
