When fossil fuels are burnt they release a large amount of carbon dioxide and other toxic green house gases into the atmosphere.So when large amount of green house gases are evolved then it may lead to global warming

burning of fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide and some green house gases into the atmosphere.

when the amount of concentration of carbon dioxide  increases in our atmosphere it leads to the situation of reduction in oxygen and also higher amount of co2 increases the temperature of the atmosphere,

thus it results in global warming
