Yes solid diffuse but not’s an easy way because the molecules in solids are tightly packed together. Particels of solids have very strong inter-molecular force & very low free space.Diffusion occur with all molecules,but for many types of solids it is extraordinarily slow process at normal temperature.

Diffusion does’t happen in all types of solids because particles in different solids only vibrate on the spot,rather then moving from one place to other.
