Q---defination of volt?
Ans----The potential differnce betwwen two points is said to be 1 volt if 1 joule of work is done in moving 1 coulmb charge from one point to the other point.
1 volt =i joule/i coulomb
v=y/c or V=JC (POWER MINUS 1)
*POTENTIAL differnce is measured by an istrument called as voltmeter *
**Volt meter is always connected parallel across the point where potential differnce to be meaured.
** A volt meter has a high resistance
I hope this help u
