Explanation:

Brood parasitism is a type of parasitism seen in birds in which the parasitic bird lays its eggs in the nest of its host and lets the host incubate them. Due to evolution, the eggs of the parasitic bird have evolved to resemble the host’s egg in size and colour thus reducing the chances of the host bird detecting the foreign eggs and throwing them from the nest. Example is the cuckoo (koel) which is the brood parasite and lays its eggs in the crow's nest.
