1-plasma membrane is also called selectively permeable membrane.It is so called because it permits entry and exit of some specific substances
2-Cell wall is the part of a cell which protects all the inner parts of a cell from damage. It protects all inner parts of the cell.

cell wall is very hard, rigid,dead and outercovering present in the plant cell only.it helps to provide definite shape to the plant cell
