Explanation:

Here are some ways to control unemployment -

  • The government can spend money or the banks can provide loans to farmers to construct wells so that they can irrigate the fields that will increase their production, it will also provide employment to the family members of the farmer also.
  • The government can spend money in transport , storage facilities, making better roads etc. so that extra produce can be transported to nearby places or it can be stored safely in graineries.
  • The farmer also need seeds, fertilizers, equipments, pump sets in order to fulfill their needs, the farmer takes loans at a higher rate of interest from the money lenders. If the local bank gave them credit at a low rate of interest, the farmers will be able to buy the above inputs on time without any hesitation.
  • Areas can be located and identified for decentralising the industries, such as pulses mills, vegetable and food processing centres etc. These will provide employment to the local people in the semi rural areas.
  • Infrastructure like schools, community centres, hospitals etc. can be established by the government, which will not only develop the area but will also provide emplpyment opportunities to the people.
  • Tourism, regional craft, IT can also provide a lot of employment opportunities to the people, hence proper planning and support from the government can give a boost to the employment situation in India.

I think these points are more than enough !

Hope I met your expectations.
