⇒ Side of a small square 2r=2×2=4cm

⇒ Area of big square =(side)² =(14)²

=196cm²

⇒ Area of a small square =(side)² =(4)² =16cm²

⇒ Area of 4 semicircle =4× πr²/2 =4×3.14×(2)² / 2 =25.12cm²

∴ Area of shaded region = Area of a big square - Area of a small square - Area of a 4 semicircle.

∴ Area of shaded region=(196−16−25.12)cm²

=154.88cm²
