Q.] Find the ratio in which xy plane divides the line joining
$\frac{x}{2} = \frac{y}{2} = \frac{z}{2}$
and B(-4, 31,-2) . Find vector equation of line AB.

To find :- ratio in which xy plane is divided.

$Give : \frac{x}{2} = \frac{y}{2} = \frac{z}{2}$

Solution :- B(-4, 31,-2)

$= 2 \: \frac{ - 4}{2} = \frac{31}{2} = \frac{ - 2}{2}$

= 2 -2 = -1 =15.2

$Hence \: \: the \: \: Answer \: \: is \: \frac{1}{2}$
