so, we know that,

Sum of the eigen values = Sum of the principal diagonal elements.

so according to the question, here

the value of eigen values = 2+2+2= 6

and,

Products of eigen values = |A|

so, |A| = 2*(4-0)- 0*(0-0)+1(0-2)

= 2*4 - 0 - 2

= 8 -2

= 6
