Q) Find the value of a & b if √11 - √7/√11 + √7 = a - √77 b

( / is divide, √ is root. )

Q) If a = √3 - √2 / √3 + √2 & b = √3 + √2 / √3 - √2
Find the value of a2 + b2 - 5ab.

A) = ( √11-√77)²/4
by rationalising denominator

11-2√77+7/4

by using identity(a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab

18-2√77/4

adding. 11 and 7

2(9-√77)/4

taking 2 as common

9-√77/2=a-√77b

a=9

b=1/2
