Q. find the value of discriminant.
1). 2y²-y+2 = 0​

2y²-y+2=0

Comparing it with ax²+bx+c=0

We get,

a=2, b= -1 and c=2

Now, we know that

a= 2, b= -1, c= 2

D= b^2 - 4ac

D = (-1)^2 - 4 (2)(2)

D= 1- 16

D= -15
