4x^2-5x-9=0.....( given quadratic equation)

By factorisation method,

4x^2-9x+4x-9=0

x(4x+9) +1(4x+9) =0

hence,

(4x+9) (x+1) =0

x=-9/4 and x= -1

hence,

the zeroes of the polynomial are unequal
