Answer:

your question is to find the zeroes of the polynomial

{x}^{2} - 3x - 4x2−3x−4 =0

{x}^{2} - x + 4x - 4x2−x+4x−4 =0

x (x-1)+4 (x-1)=0

(x-1)(x+4)=0

(x-1)=0 (x+4)=0

x=1 or x=(-4)

Answer:

x^+3x−4=0

x ^{2} + (4 - 1)x - 4 = 0x

2

+(4−1)x−4=0

x ^{2} + 4x - x - 4 = 0x

2

+4x−x−4=0

x(x + 4) - 1(x + 4) = 0x(x+4)−1(x+4)=0

(x - 1)(x + 4) = 0(x−1)(x+4)=0

eithereither

x - 1 = 0x−1=0

x = 1x=1

oror

x + 4 = 0x+4=0

x = - 4x=−4

hope it helps
