In the poem 'The Legend of the Northland'.

The greedy woman could not overcome her greed and give a cake to the Saint Peter.Saint Peter was the messenger of god. By making him about to faint. Saint peter became furious and made the little lady a woodpecker because she did not respect the needs of her and was selfish. After becoming woodpecker she would have to work hard for her  needs.
