1. It gives all its citizen to vote in the election and hence participate in the government.

2. It gives everyone the right to freedom.

3. Everyone is equal before the law.

4. It also ensures reservation of seats for minority groups in the various departments.

Minority rights cover protection of existence, protection from discrimination and persecution, protection and promotion of identity, and participation in political life.

The main focus of the law is to create confidence in the mind of such minorities that they are protected by the law of the Constitution and also they are treated equally on par with the majority so that there would be no any kind of discrimination among the citizens.
