1)The issue of sustainability is important for development .

2) Since the second half of the twentieth century, a number of scientists have been warning that the present types, a level, of development are not sustainable .

3) Many resources are replenished by the nature . However, even these resources can be overused . For example, in the case of water, if we use them more than what is being replenished by rain then we would be overusing these resources .

4) We have limited stock on earth which cannot be replenished if we do not discover new resources, overtime, non - renewable resources will be exhausted.

5) So, there is a need for judicious use of resources so they last long and future generation can also make use of them.
