Q - how many rectangular tiles 10 cm by 7cm will be required to cover the floor 14m by 12 1/2 m and what will be the cost at Rs.5 per hundred.

Let's take out area of tiles= 10cm×7cm
=70cm^2
Let's take out area of floor= 14m×25/2m
= 7m×25m= 175m^2
Converting m^2 into cm^2= 175×10000cm^2
=1750000cm^2

Number of tiles needed= 1750000/70
=25000

Cost of inserting tiles of per hundered=Rs 5
Per 1=5/100
Per 25000= 5/100×25000
=Rs 1250
