the sensory nerves at that site sends nerve impulse to the brain. and the brain responds to That stimulus and send another impulse to the motor nerves in our hand.. So we draw our hand back.

When we touch a hot object, thermo receptors present in our skin receive the stimulus and changes it into nerve impulses which are carries to spinal cord by sensory neurons. Thereby spinal cord instructs the effectors through motor neuron then our muscle contradicts and we remove our hand

Stimulus------------>Receptors----------> Sensory neuron------> spinal cord-----------> motor neurons------> effectors------Response
