- When the wall street exchange crashed, Germany severely faced problems because the country's economy was dependent on USA's loans.
- Unemployment increased and reached over 6 million.
- Workers lost their jobs or many of them faced reduction in wages.
- The youth started criminal activities at a large scale.
- Many umemployed people came out to the streets, sitting and playing cards. There was a scene of total despair.
- Savings of families diminished.
