1. x + y + √2

  • x + y + 2 = 0 ----(1)

  • ± (a² + ) = ±( 1 + 1)

  • = ±2

Now , divide by ±2

x/±2 + y/±2 = -2/±2

x/-2 + y/-2 = 1

2. √3 - y + 2 = 0

  • ±(a² + ) = ±(3 + 1)

  • ±4 = ±2

Now , divide by ±2

  • 3/-2 x + 1/±2y = -2/±2

  • 3/-2x + 1/-2y = -2/-2

  • (3/-2)x + ½y = 1
