SOLUTION

A COMPLETE ROTATION refers to movement of an object on its axis of 360°.

Now the table rotates 720° degree in one second which means :-

No. of rotation in one second is

= 720 ÷ 360

= 2

Hence if the Table rotates 2 times then the number of rotation in one minute is

1 min = 60 sec

Number of Rotations in 60sec

is = 2 × 60 = 120

Therefore number of rotations in 1 min is 120 (ANS).
