Q. If cost of 12 books containing 250 pages is Rs. 180.Find the cost of 20 books if each contains 200 pages .

Divide the first cost by 12. 180/12=15. Which means, it is 15 rupees per book. Which means, 15 rupees per 250 pages. Divide this by further 250. 15/250=3/50 rupees per page. So, now for 20 books with 200 pages the cost will be 20*200*3/50=240 rupees.
