Formula for acceleration is,

 \frac{v - u}{t}

Where v - final velocity

u - initial velocity

and t - time taken

Substituting these values, we get,

a =  \frac{15 - 0}{30}  \\ a =  \frac{1}{2}  \\ a = 0.5 \: m {s}^{ - 2}

Using the second equation of motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a{t}^{2}

We get,

s = (0)(30) +  \frac{1}{2} (0.5)( {30}^{2} ) \\ s =  \frac{1}{2} 450 \\ s = 225m
