Answer: The goal of sustainable development is to meet the needs of today, without compromising the needs of tomorrow. This means we cannot continue using current levels of resources as this will not leave enough for future generations. Stabilising and reducing carbon emissions is key to living within environmental limits.

Sustainable Development:

The development that takes place without harming the environment and each and every demand is fulfilled.

The importance of sustainable development:

  • The resources are limited and there is a huge demand as it is a huge population.
  • Many developments act also harm the environment by making pollutions. (i.e. air pollution, soil pollution, noise pollution, etc.)
  • If nature is destroyed we will also suffer. Not only we but other living organisms in this world.
  • Many natural resources like fossil fuels take millions of years to form.
  • To save resources for future generations also.

So, here are some step,

  1. Use the resources in the right way, and don't waste them.
  2. Try to used renewable resources like solar energy, wind energy, which are eco-friendly and do not harm nature.
