Radius of circle =10.5 cm

Let x cm be the major arc, then x/5 cm be the length of minor arc.

Circumference of circle = x + x/5 = 6x/5

We know, Circumference of circle = 2πr

= 2×22/7×10.5

6x/5 = 2×22/7×10.5

x = 55 cm

Area of major sector = 2πr / length of arc × πr²

= 1/2 × 55 × 10.5

= 288.75

The area of major sector is 288.75 cm²
