Q. In class 10 A, there are 30 boys and 20 girls. In 10B,
there are 15 boys and 25 girls. One student is to
be selected from each class

What is the probability of at least one boy?


A.N.S. Number of pairs of selecting at least one boy
=30x15+30x25+15x20

=450+750+300=1500

Probability=1500/2000

=3/4
