Q is as much younger than R as he is older than T.If the sum of the ages of R and T is 50 years,what is the difference between R and Q 's age?

Let Q be 'x' years younger than R. Then Q is 'x' years older than T. Also given, R + T =50
Q = R - x
Q = T + x
2Q = R + T [adding above 2 equations]
2Q = 50
Q = 25
So, if x=5, then R's age = 30 && T's age = 20
R - Q = 30 - 25 = 5 years
