Q.Is reservation is good for nation or not?

Reservation is quiet good for a nation. when the constitution was made our constitution makers felt the need that the backward sections should be given equal opportunities so that they may Express their views and participate in various arenas like political area. reservation policy was started to ensure the equal participation of backward section like SCs,STs ,OBCs .
fixed number of seats r reserved for backward sections in politics, govt jobs and in other various sectors.

but according to my thinking,it has also become a threat for forward caste I.e. general.
as even the general caste people work hard for getting govt jobs, they r unable to get them.
this is just due to reservation policy.
even less percentage of SCs or STs is preferred for govt jobs while the general caste people with higher percentage r not getting jobs.

so according to me this is both good and bad for a nation and its people.
