Given : Q is the successor and R is the additive inverse of an integer P, respectively.

To find : Which of the given values of P makes P Q * R a non-negative integer

Solution:

Q is the successor  of P => Q = P + 1

R is the additive inverse of P  =>   R = - P

P Q R

 =  P (P + 1)(-P)

= -P²(P + 1)

P²  is non negative

hence - (P + 1) should also be non negative

- (P +1 ) ≥ 0

=> P + 1 ≤ 0

=> P  ≤ - 1

in given options only -1 Satisfies

option B is correct

- 1
