Answer:

United we stand, divided we fall

"United we stand, divided we fall" is a phrase used in many different kinds of mottos, most often to inspire unity and collaboration. Its core concept lies in the collectivist notion that if individual members of a certain group with binding ideals – such as a union, coalition, confederation or alliance – work on their own instead of as a team, they are each doomed to fail and will all be defeated. The phrase is also often referred to with only the words "United we stand".

Every

each and all of the members of a group considered singly and without exception. "every person is mortal"; "every party is welcome"; "had every hope of success"; "every chance of winning".

Answer:

United we stand, divided we fall

"United we stand, divided we fall" is a very well-known saying which highlights the importance of unity. Through the ages this proverb stirred people up to greater unity.

Unity is of great value in every walk of life. One example is seen in games and sports involving different teams. A team may have some very good players. But unless there is a strong bond of unity amongst the team members they cannot perform well and will lose games to weaker teams. Teamwork is essential to achieve something significant.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking." India is a land of diversity. People have different tradition, culture, custom, religion, language, dress and food habits. Therefore, as one nation, we need unity in diversity more than any other nation of the world.

When the people in a society live together in unity there will be peace and progress. No nation can prosper if the people are not united. A country torn by strife internally cannot stand up against external foreign enemies. Some great ancient empires have fallen never to rise again. Their downfall were the result of internal conflicts, disunity and division.

There is strength in unity but division weakens and ruins a country. Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." Therefore, everyone must strive to overcome differences and come together as one in harmony and unity. Unity is strength. Unity is of great value in every walk of life. If there is unity among people then their strength increases. If we work together we can be successful. If we fight each other we will fail.
