Solutions :-
Given :-
Cost Price of 25 sarees = ₹ 10000
Selling price of 1 saree = ₹ 460
Find the cost price of 1 saree :-
By unitary method,
25 sarees = ₹ 10000
1 saree = ₹ 10000/25 = ₹ 400
Now,
We have,
Selling price = ₹ 460
Cost Price = ₹ 400
Selling price is greater than the Cost price. Therefore, Profit.
Profit = S.P - C.P
= ₹ (460 - 400)
= ₹ 60
Profit % = (profit × 100)/C.P %
= (60 × 100)/400 %
= 6000/400 %
= 15 %
Hence,
Kantabai get 15% profit in this transaction.
