The total surface of area of the cube is 1330 cm².

The volume of the cube is 2025.4 cm³.

• Given data :

The length of the side of the cube is 14 centimetres.

The radius of the hemisphere is 7 centimetres.

• At first,we have to calculate the volume of the cube by using the following mathematical formula :

= (Side)³

= (14)³

= 2744 cm³

• Now,we have to calculate the volume of the hemisphere by using the following mathematical formula :

= 2/3 × π × (radius)³

= 2/3 × 22/7 × (7)³

= 718.6 cm³

So,the actual volume of the cube is = 2744-718.6 = 2025.4 cm³ (answer)

• Now, we have to calculate the surface area of the cube excluding the hemisphere's side by using the following mathematical formula

= 5 × (side)²

= 5 × (14)²

= 980 cm²

• Now,the surface area of the hemisphere's side

= (Surface area of the side - surface area of the base of the hemisphere) + curved surface area of the hemisphere

= {(14)²-(π×49)}} + (2×π×49)}

= ( 196 - 154) + ( 308)

= 42 + 308

= 350 cm²

•So,the total surface area of the cube is

= (350+980)

= 1330 cm² (answer)
