1) Any disturbing or unwanted noise that interferes or harms humans or animals is said to be as noise pollution. It has negative impacts on wildlife species by reducing habitat quality, increasing stress levels, and masking other sounds. We can control noise pollution by taking few measures like by turning off appliances when not in use, use of earplugs, lowering the volume, planting more trees, regular maintenance of vehicles and machines etc.

2) Loudness of the sound depends upon the area of a vibrating body. It also depends on the distance between the listener and the source of the sound.

3) Sound travels faster at higher temperatures and slower at lower temperatures. Solids are much more elastic than liquids or gases, and allow sound waves to travel through them very quickly, at about 6000 feet per second. Thus, the speed of sound depends on the type of medium and the temperature of the medium.
