➡️Consider the side of square = x

▶️since the diameter of circle is 10 cm

O is the centre of circle so

▶️OC = OD = OA = 10/2 = 5 cm

Now

✅OB = x-5 ..( see diagram clearly )

✍️AB=x/2

How AB is x/2

In ∆ABO & ∆ CBO

✍️angle ABO = angle CBO..(90°)

✍️BO = BO ..common

✍️AO = OC ...( radius of circle )

▶️both are congruent by RHS Congruency Rule

✅means AB = BC by C.p.c.t

✅AB² + OB² = AO²

✍️(x/2)²+(x-5)² =5²

✍️x²/4+(x²+25-10x) = 25

✍️x²+4(x²+25-10x) = 25×4

✍️x²+4x²+25×4-40x=25×4

✍️5x²-40x=0

✍️5x(x-8)=0

✍️x=0 or x-8=0 and it's

✍️x=8

➡️x = sides = 8 cm

➡️area of square = 8² = 64 cm² or unit²

your solution...
